Diana Meltsner has been teaching yoga in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2001. She grew up in Prague, where she established a meditation practice in her early twenties and soon thereafter discovered yoga. After completing her college degree in the Czech Republic, she moved to the United States and now lives with her family in San Francisco, California.

Over the course of her teaching career, Diana has developed a deep interest in the intersection of contemplative practice, science, and spirituality. Her work is informed by ongoing study in neuropsychology and human physiology, as well as by contemplative traditions including Christian mysticism and Dzogchen Tibetan Buddhism. She is particularly drawn to interfaith dialogue and to exploring the shared wisdom and experiential ground across spiritual traditions.

After years of practice and teaching, Diana became a lead teacher trainer for 200-hour yoga in 2012 and meditation teacher training programs in 2020 and is certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) since 2019. She maintains a private yoga therapy practice and works with clients at the Integral Yoga Therapy Clinic. In addition, she serves as Programs Manager at the Integral Yoga Institute of San Francisco, an urban ashram of Saraswathi lineage dedicated to sharing classical teachings of Yoga.

Since 2004, Diana has collaborated with Kaiser Permanente, teaching yoga classes to members, physicians, and staff, and offering workshops through the Worksite Wellness Department through out the Bay Area. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she provided online office yoga and mindfulness meditation programs for medical staff before returning to in-person offerings.

Outside of her professional work, Diana finds deep nourishment in nature and considers time outdoors essential to both physical and mental well-being. She treasures long walks with her rescue dog, Roxy, and experiences nature as a source of peace that soothes fatigue and restores the spirit. An avid gardener, Diana celebrates the cycles of growth and change and enjoys conversations about gardening and the living world.
